Every test is checked against laser timing or high-speed video before launch, and results are labelled "app-timed" so nobody mistakes them for a laser-timed camp. Hand-timed 40s usually read 0.2–0.3 s faster than electronic times because of the timer's reaction — ours doesn't depend on anyone's thumb.
